With all repeat prescriptions you should expect to have your medication reviewed periodically. This is to make sure that the medication is effective, well tolerated and necessary.

Use the right-hand side of the prescription and post this to us or leave it in the prescription box in the health centre foyer (to the right hand side of the stairs. Ours is the central box) or at our reception.

Allow 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) for collection.

If you ask for the prescription to be sent to a chemists in the town you must allow another 24 hours.

You can choose to collect your prescriptions from any chemist or the health centre pharmacy.

Make your choice known to the receptionist by completing a preference form.

Automated Prescriptions. Some patients who have uncomplicated medications, are up to date with reviews, blood tests and are otherwise well may be eligible to pick prescriptions up monthly via the chemist and see us only once a year for a review. If you would like to be considered for this way of handling your prescriptions please advise the manager.
